- 1 tsp thyme (5g)
- 1 tsp curry powder (5g)
- 1 green bell pepper (medium)
- 1 tsp chili pepper (5g)
- 1 tsp salt (5g)
- 1 tbsp plain flour (15g)
- 1 seasoning cube (Maggi)
- ¼ – ½ cup water (60–120ml)
- Vegetable oil for frying (canola, olive, or soybean
oil)
Preparation Method
Making
the Filling
- Scrape and dice carrots and potatoes into tiny cubes.
Chop onions, green pepper, and grind garlic and ginger.
- Boil potatoes for 2 minutes, add carrots and peas, then
green pepper. Drain and set aside.
- Season minced meat with thyme, curry, chili pepper,
seasoning cube, and salt. Cook with a little water.
- Heat oil, sauté onions, garlic, and ginger, then add
cooked minced meat and vegetable mix. Stir well.
- Mix flour with a little water or meat stock to thicken
the filling. Adjust salt and set aside.
Making
the Pastry
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Rub in butter until
crumbly.
- Add water gradually to form a dough. Knead gently and
